The Colyer

Aviva

The Colyer is a mid-nineteenth century building. Formerly Studio 51, it was a seminal jazz club for artists including Ken Colyer. Johnson Naylor were responsible for the interior architecture and design of the apartments and reception. The design includes many surprising details – the datum line that runs through the floors and walls of each apartment, the flash of blue in bathrooms and wardrobes, the bespoke ironmongery and kitchens.
