We are taking this opportunity to delve into the archives and create a series to feature on our instagram. This will reflect on the buildings that we have reimagined along the Dungeness coastline. Each building is characterised by its own unique history and vernacular, with openings that carefully frame the views of the spectacular never-ending horizon.
Built by the government in the 1950s, the former lookout tower was originally used by the coast guard to direct shipping. We transformed the tower into a unique studio and home, offering a calm and contemporary sanctuary, whilst retaining the feel of the original architecture and utilitarian beauty it offers. The ideal place to be on a day like today…appropriately Dungeness is closed to visitors.
