Magnum relocated to a 450 sqm two story courtyard fin de siècle warehouse after 20 years in their previous offices in Paris.
A flexible gallery space was created that blends together Magnum’s vast library of books, a visible research area and the activities of the Magnum team.
Purposed designed block panels can be reconfigured to suit the diverse range of exhibitions, the research area can flex to suit launch day needs and a salon privé sits alongside the gallery teams’ work areas.
The inverse of a ‘white box’ gallery the visitors experience is of an active vibrant organisation, as relevant now as when it was formed in 1947.
