We were recently lucky enough to have a hands-on factory tour of Benchmark in Kintbury. Learning to work with wood and produce our own furniture alongside the incredibly skilled craftsmen at Benchmark, we learnt first hand the efforts that go into producing enduring well designed furniture. Their factory resides of the estate of Terrace Conran’s home and benchmark itself is still run in a very hands on way by it’s co-founder Sean Sutcliffe – Our mentor for the day! Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
