Last month we were invited to attend the international design fair by DNA Partners who represent some of our favourite craftsman and designers. Over two days we visited; the Brdr. Kruger factory learning about the fifth generation wood-turning workshop that strive for quality in craftsmanship and their exciting collaborations, New Works collection displayed sculptural forms in their brand new showroom, with the covent series both graphic and organic and finally the Erik Jørgensen showrooms; synonymous with iconic pieces such as the Hans J. Wegner’s Ox chair, and Poul M. Volther’s Corona, the company are experts in upholstered furniture with the ethos to create ‘durable and sustainable furniture with a timeless mode of expression’. Along with wandering the city seeing all that Danish design has to offer.
